Chirs Bell’s mirror play

Chris Bell, who is in residence as the first Bob Miller‘s fund artist, made a simple and mesmerizingly beautiful device: mirror shards at the end of thin rods project balls of light on the wall when put in direct sunlight. As you shake the table, the balls start moving in elliptical shapes, that become squiggles when disturbed by vibrations. After his brown bag, he took some TI workshop participants to Bob’s “Sun Painting“, and they explored his contraption.
